Is there any other offline ticketing office other than those installed at the venue of competition?
Tickets can be purchased at the on-site ticket office in the stadium during the competition period. You can purchase it three hours before the start of the game.
What are the advantages of booking tickets in advance?
☞ Early birds would have the advantage of discounts according to the number of tickets reserved. You can get a discount up to 15%.
How do I buy tickets with my mobile device?
Tickets can be purchased using a smartphone. Visit the 2019 Gwangju World Championship ticketing official website (https://tickets.gwangju2019.com) for the purchase.
When do ticket box open on site during championship period?
☞ You may purchase tickets at Ticket Box Office located near the stadiums from 3 hours before the start of the game. The hours of operation are from 3 hours before the game to 30 minutes after the game.
Can I buy tickets by phone?
☞ You can only receive notices and information for tickets for 2019 Gwangju World Championships through call center. However, we offer assistance to non-internet users and elderly people for reservation. We encourage you to make a direct online purchase for your privacy.
How should Koreans living abroad purchase tickets?
☞ Koreans living abroad should register for membership through the 2019 Gwangju World Championships Ticketing website. Tickets must be picked up on-site at ticket booth located in the entrance of the stadium or the main ticketing center in Organizing Committee by presenting reservation confirmation sheet.
Can foreigners living in Korea buy tickets in Korea?
☞ Yes, foreigners living in Korea can purchase tickets online just like general public in Korea. However, foreigners need to sign up to website by entering name and email. Also, please note that if you choose to receive your tickets via delivery, you will only be able to receive it locally given that you had entered a correct address.
When can international fans buy tickets?
☞ International fans could also buy tickets as those in Korea from January 2, 2019. For the convenience of international fans, sales of package deals (tickets + transportation + accommodation, etc.) linked with admission tickets will be sold in separate travel agencies as a part of hospitality

Is there any limitation in quantity and age to the ticket purchase?
The number of tickets available per person is 8 pieces for each game type and session. There is no limit to the number tickets for same game category or session.
Ex.) For the same game type,
number of tickets for game session * 8 pieces are available; such as 8 tickets
for morning round, 8 tickets for afternoon round and 8 tickets for the
following morning round for swimming
category.
The age at which tickets can be
purchased online is beyond 19 according to the Information and Communications
Network Act., if individual below 18
years old attempts to buy tickets, he/she will not be able to sign up as online
member (however, limiting offline purchase is not possible).
Children under 24 months can be admitted free of charge under the supervision of a guardian, but no seats are provided for the children.
* Overseas swimming federation, FINA partners can be purchased without limit.
